The Dohsa<\/strong> method is an effective therapeutic method used for children with autism which was developed originally for children with cerebral palsy inJapan. In this article, the author introduces the theoretical background, therapeutic techniques, and effectiveness of this method. Finally, the necessity of the combination of this method with other therapeutic techniques is discussed.
